Growing up, I always wanted to be a star. I used to pretend to be an actress walking the red carpet or taking the stage to receive my grand prize. I even thought about a career in singing until I realized that singing wasn’t necessarily my cup of tea. Today I like to watch those who give fame a shot, and those are shows like Britain’s Got Talent.
What’s even more charming is the fact that we hear the stories of all the participants as they take the stage and show off their talent. I must say that each of these people deserves to be on this platform.
Today you are going to hear about a young boy who managed to win everyone’s hearts despite having the mentality that he wasn’t good enough after being bullied a lot for his love of music and his weight.
Kyle Tomlinson is a 15-year-old boy from Sheffield, England who has an insatiable passion for singing. He first entered Britain’s Got Talent when he was just 12 years old. At that time, he was not allowed to go to the second round but was instead advised by David Walliams to take singing lessons to improve his //abilities. The teenager took David’s advice, having spent over £2,000 on vocal training, and hit the BGT stage again, three years later.
This time he completely wowed the judges and the crowd with his version of the song “Hallelujah”. He didn’t just “wow” them, he won them over by receiving the elusive golden buzzer for his enchanting and mesmerizing performance! What an absolute honour!
