15-year-old’s ‘powerful’ voice entrances The Voice judges and earns 4-chair turn

He may have been nervous onstage but it never showed.

The singing reality show The Voice has always attracted the best and most talented singers in the country.
The fact that these are “blind auditions,” with the judges facing away from the contestants so they only hear singing voices, makes the show more appealing because of its unbiased process.

It doesn’t matter how they look or how old they are, every contestant is given an equal opportunity on this show.

One of these contestants includes 15-year-old Ryley Tate Wilson.
Ryley is a young singer from the state of Alabama influenced highly by R&B singers like Steve Lacy, Ritt Momney, and Frank Ocean.

The Voice judges, however, had a hard time getting past the fact that Ryley was only 15 years old.
